We use only the cookies needed to sign you in, keep accounts secure, and stop form spam. No advertising or tracking cookies.

1. What cookies are

Cookies are small files a website stores in your browser. Similar tools, like local storage, work the same way. This policy covers both.

2. We use only essential cookies

Placestead uses cookies only to sign you in, keep your account secure, and protect our forms from spam. We do not use advertising, retargeting, social media, or cross-site tracking cookies, and we do not sell or share cookie data for advertising. Our product analytics run on our own servers without cookies or persistent identifiers.

4. Browser storage

Inside the app, we may keep short-lived settings in your browser, such as filters or an unsent draft. These are cleared when you sign out. On our public pages, we remember that you closed the cookie notice so it does not appear again.

5. Payments and other sites

When you pay, you are sent to Stripe’s secure checkout page. Stripe sets its own cookies there to prevent fraud, under Stripe’s cookie policy. reCAPTCHA is subject to Google’s Privacy Policy and Terms of Service.

6. Your choices

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Because our cookies are essential, blocking them will stop you from signing in, and blocking reCAPTCHA will stop our website forms from sending.
